I am thoroughly prepared for trial, knowledgeable in all facets of the case, including medical records, documentation, depositions of all parties involved and all imaging studies.
I will bring all necessary records, as well as models, audiovisual etc. corroborating my opinions and making it easy for a jury to understand the pertinent facts in layman’s terms. My opinions are fact-based, founded on forty-four years of surgery, and corroborated by scientific literature.
I always say, “surgery is an inexact science performed in an imperfect world.” Many factors come to play during a procedure. Complications many times are unavoidable and do not translate to the physician performing below the standard of care. Conversely, if the facts imply wrongdoing or mistakes that were avoidable, I have no problem stating that. It really comes down to thorough knowledge of the case, close alignment and preparation with the attorney, and convincing, honest presentation to the jury in a respectful manner. In a malpractice case, I’m the expert and it is my job to make sure the jury understands and believes it.
I look forward to being of service for your needs.
